This week on Intelligent Talk Radio, How Much Should Parents Say About Their Children's Faith?: The intersection of protecting our children and their interests has hit a crossroads. The family court bench has attempted to guide a young women's theological development by inappropriately taking her out of home school and placing her in a public school. We all have an obligation to protect the freedoms of parents to protect these actions from happening to our children.
Also, Human Enhancement: We have had more ability to increase our physical functionality in the last 25 years than we have ever had in the last 2500 years combined. By 2039 we may be able to download our DNA and memories and in some ways recreate our past relatives. Change is a part of who we are. Are we tampering and playing God? Are humans here to play God? The future will unfold the continued merging of humans and machines for therapeutic implications. What ethical qiestions does this raise?
