After 40 years of research and hundreds of studies, it turns out there is no upside to spanking. On the contrary, it may lower your child's IQ. In a recent study of 32 countries around the world, kids who were never spanked had a 5 point higher IQ than those that were spanked. How do we start this global conversation about stopping spanking now? Dr. Andy Grogan-Kaylor, Associate Professor of Social Work at the University of Michigan joins this discussion.
